The Bellingham Metal Arts Guild (BMAG) is 100% volunteer administered 501 (3) (c) non-profit organization.  Without the help of many, many members we would not exist as an organization nor pay the rent and other costs to have a studio where our members can practice the metal arts or take classes.  Our classes and workshops are delivered by paid instructors that take a percentage of the class fee with some exceptions were instructors or workshop facilitators provide their services on a volunteer basis. The revenues from classes are the primary source of funds for BMAG with membership dues second.  Fees for members studio use is at approximate cost.  Without the work of many administrative volunteers those classes would never take place.  The current list of administrative positions in the BMAG and the people that generously give their time filling these positions are:

Our facility is open during classes, workshops, member meetings, board meetings and BMAG Member's Open Studio (BMAG-MOS). We have made this decision in order to focus more on what our membership wanted. We have continue to increase the number & variety of classes/ workshops we offer while working to expand the BMAG Member's Open Studio (BMAG-MOS) Program. Thank you for your patience while we work out the details.

If you are a member and are interested in using BMAG Member's Open Studio (BMAG-MOS), we request you take a complimentary Member's Refresher/Safety course. For more information, please email the education committee chair at: info@ BellinghamMetalArtsGuild.org
